Youniverse

In 2016, global technology consultancy Thoughtworks was exploring emerging technologies of interest to their clients. Their Emerging Technology team approached my startup Thicket Labs and asked us to collaborate on a virtual reality prototype because of our expertise in data mapping and visualization.

We worked with ThoughtWorks to repurpose one of Thicket’s past projects to create an immersive data visualization experience in Oculus Rift. Youniverse gives users the ability to explore a universe that has been procedurally generated by their own data.
