THE ROCKEFELLER FOUNDATION

Blue State Digital was hired by the Rockefeller Foundation to support its centennial program with a full-scale digital campaign and to help launch its inaugural Innovation Forum with a digital strategy to engage a global audience. As lead strategist, I conducted archival research, wrote copy for the website, emails and social media, developed infographics, live tweeted the Innovation Forum, and created a digital communications program that engaged millions of people worldwide.

RESULTS

  • One month after launch, the Facebook fan community had grown from 1,000 to 16,000.

  • The Innovation Forum engaged 2.3 million Twitter users and the video livestream reached 16,000 unique audience members.

  • The Centennial website and email program was the Rockefeller Foundation’s most successful digital campaign to date, engaging millions of audience members worldwide.
